VideoSecu Adjustable Swing Arm mount for LCD,November 14, 2009 By Paul M. Toscano (New York State)
This TV mount was ideal for my application, which was a small 19″ LCD TV in my workshop. I believe it was less than delivered, which I thought was a great deal. It installs easy enough with no real effort. I will say that the hardware quality of the mounting screws could be better, but I was able to utilize them anyway. This articulating wall mount adjusts nicely to provide excellent view angles from any place in the shop area. It worked well enough that I purchased another for my Mom’s TV. I don’t think any buyer would be disappointed in purchasing this mount. worked out well and easy to install, would buy again!,October 13, 2010

I used this to mount a 22-inch monitor on the wall in the space between a built-in desktop and wall-mounted shelves in my home office. You attach a small plate to the wall with lag screws into a stud (I used 2 of the 3 supplied), then attaching in some order the mounting unit to that plate. To give myself more room to work I attached one of mounting arms firmly to the monitor, then propped up the monitor while I attached the mount to the wall plate, then attached the other mounting arm to the monitor. I did it single-handed and it took a while, but once up everything works fine and I’m very happy with the result. The monitor screen sits about 6 inches from the wall, and tilts and swivels as I need it to. All the screws, bolts, and Allen wrenches needed are included with the unit, though you’ll need regular a screwdriver to attach the monitor. I used a Phillips bit in a small socket wrench to do the last step of attaching the mounting arm to the monitor. I have two more mounting units which I’m planning to use to create a dual-monitor wall mount. Because I want them close together I’ll contemplate whether I can use drywall-only mounting (monitors are lighter than TVs) and the order of assembly. I might attach the mounting plate firmly to the monitor before connecting everything to the wall plate. And I might get a helper. |
