The Samsung LN26A450 720p 26″ LCD HDTV (Black) from Samsung is ideal for your media room with its slim, stylish bezel. This HDTV has an integrated NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner, which receives digital terrestrial and cable signals. The three HDMI inputs allows for one-cable digital connections with your HD gear. TheLN26A450 has a 26″ display, which features sharp, realistic imagery combined with SRS TruSurround XT to bring your movies and HD programming to life. The PC input allows this display to double as a 26″ computer monitor.

Samsung LN26A450’s bright, detailed picture impressed. Although it’s only 720p,  but in this size you’d have to almost strap it to your head to notice. And there’s nothing cheesy about its vivid color — surprisingly accurate for a set this small.

Unlike many small sets, though, the Samsung’s noise reduction performs beautifully. It offers a wide range of NR options to dial in just the right settings to clean up whatever you’re watching. We saw good results leaving it in “auto” for all but the crappiest video, and only had to really adjust for our truly hideous NR test clip.

Hardcore testing aside, the Samsung’s good NR combined with its great picture and color delivered where it matters the most: our HD and SD test movies looked awesome, as did satellite HDTV and output from our 360.  —Chuck Cage

For you gamers, this is the perfect sized TV that will hook up to your consoles with multiple HDMI inputs and component inputs you will get a bunch of your consoles plugged in to this without additional AV tuners. Note: this doesn’t have composite inputs, so you will have to either buy an HDMI cable or component cable for the consoles if you don’t have one already. The contrast ratio and brightness of this screen is also amazing which makes movies and games come to life. Been playing GTA4 over the weekend through my ps3 and everything was amazing and didn’t notice any delay (another perk of the 8ms response time).

The speakers for this definitely are it’s one weakness, so that review is appropriate, they are in the back of the screen and pointing directly down to the ground. So while that kind of sucks honestly you have to ask yourself, are you going to use the TV speakers or use the multiple outputs to plug into a surround sound anyways?
