Samsung LN46A850  was easy to hook up. Screwed in the cable to the back and turned it on. It went through a couple of quick menus and then it was searching for channels. It even tells you on the screen where it is in the process. 

Navigating the built in menu system is fairly easy. Once you get the hang of the remote you can set up the entire TV in about 30 minutes (in my case).

The black bezel is extremely glossy and looks spectacular. When the room has all of the lights on you can see the reflections off of it but it has not interfered with our viewing. Daytime viewing, in the morning the room is brightly lit as it gets the rising sun. The screen is not affected from it.

The picture is just exceptionally clear and the TV does a great job of adjusting the straight 4:3 broadcast into what ever format you want. I think that there are 5 different settings here (4:3, 16:9, zoom 1, zoom 2, wide fit) and you can set to your tastes.

DVD Player, Hooked it up to the TV with component cables as the connection. The player is a 2001 model and is pretty basic. The TV has a built in surround sound emulator that can be turned on and off if you do not have external speakers. The sound was absolutely great.

The INFOLINK found everything the first time. News, Sports, Weather, and Stocks etc can be programmed fairly easy.
