Great for what it is,July 2, 2011

This LED TV is a great choice in it’s price range. Unfortunately the first unit I received had a 4″ section of dead screen right out of the box. It is incredibly slim for wall hanging. It will mount to 1/2″ drywall directly with the right wall fastener as it weighs only 20lbs. When flush wall mounting you are not able to connect anything except one side mounted HDMI cable. All the other connections are oriented directly out the back of the unit. Picture is very good with several presets and a couple custom settings. Audio is what you would expect from an ultra slim LED TV, acceptable at best.

absolutely stunning picture.,July 30, 2011

I am, by no means a huge HD fanatic, and I don’t get anal about black levels or minor flaws (really how could you at this price;) but I know when something is pleasing to my eyes and this TV is it, to say the least. Playing the PS3 or watching Breaking Bad is an experience words cannot describe, but I’ll give it a shot. black levels are deep, colors are vivid (really vivid,) you can have it as bright ass you want without the strain on your eyes, and all for less than 0. Sound quality from the unit is extremely poor I have to admit (staticy bass just one example,) but the tv is as thick as a penny (not a figure of speech.) just get some computer speakers with a sub-woofer, you’ll be fine. I have only used the HDMI and USB ports so I can’t touch on RCA input quality. no real complaints except for an somewhat noticeable dead pixel or something in the top right hand corner of the screen ( It is only noticed on a pure white screen, I could care less.)

Did not meet my expectations,May 28, 2011

This TV has a very poor viewing angle. It starts to wash out the moment you’re slightly off-center. Picture quality was sub-par, everything looked over-saturated or somewhat hazy. The down-firing speakers produced muffled sound that wasn’t very loud even when turned up to the maximum level. There’s a slight time delay from when you press a button on the remote control and the TV responds. It’s just enough to be annoying because you’re not sure if the TV received the command. And the bracket that attaches the TV to the pedestal is flimsy and poorly threaded.
