The Sharp LC-42D65U 42″ 16:9 AQUOS HD 1080p LCD Television is a slim, stylish LCD TV, that will enhance the decor of any media room with its Edge Jet design. With an ultra wide viewing angle of 176° you’ll always get great image quality, whether you’re sitting directly in front of the TV or off to the side even in rooms with ambient light. The LC-42D65U offers multiple connections such as 5 HDMI inputs, 1080p component, and PC with a RS-232 port for creating your ideal home theater.

The LC-42D65U boasts Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution for a detailed picture. Sharp’s proprietary Advanced Super View LCD panel provides 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (2,000:1 native) and deep blacks, which allow viewers to discern details they might otherwise miss, especially when viewing darker content. Teh super-fast 4ms response time provides stunning picture quality even in fast-moving sequences. Additionally, the LC-42D65U’s 176-degree viewing angles ensure that the crisp, detailed images on the Display can be seen easily from anywhere in the conference room, restaurant, bar or digital signage install.

The Full HD 1080p 42-inch Aquos LCD TV is well suited to any commercial application requiring built-in tuners and speakers, while adding the functionality of RS-232C control and DVI-I input.

 The Sharp LC-42D65U is an excellent match for a PS3 or Xbox 360 with native support for 1080p. It’s also packed with 5 HDMI inputs and a PC (VGA) input for connecting multiple gaming consoles, a HTPC, cable/satellite box, and other HD gear. The Sharp 65U series is one of the best LCD TVs in terms of input lag, but for best results, configure your PS3 or Xbox 360 to output in 1080p. If you’re using an console that can’t output in 1080p, this HDTV’s “Game Mode” actually does a pretty good job reducing input lag. Picture quality is not quite up to par with the best Samsung or Sony LCD TVs, but for gamers, that’s less of a concern.

The LC-42D65U’s flexible array of input terminals includes 5 HDMI inputs, two HD component inputs and DVI-I. DVI-I ensures full compatibility with a PC, making the management of digital signage content hassle-free. In addition to commercial-friendly features including RS-232C contro and DVI-I, the LC-42D65U ships with the table stand removed from the carton. The stand is available as an optional accessory. The newly designed LC-42BT10U features a matte black cabinet and bottom mounted speakers for wall mounting placement.
